Institute hosts Colloquium on Leisure and Well-Being Among Older People in Spain

On Friday, September 5, the UGA Institute of Gerontology hosted a conversation among faculty and students at the University of Georgia and faculty from the Universities of Deusto and Barcelona. Professors Maria-Jesus Monteagudo, Fernando Bayon, Jaime Cuenca from the Institute of Leisure Studies at Deusto University in Bilbao, and Professors Nuria Codina and Jose Vicente Pestana from the Department of Social Psychology at the University of Barcelona engaged with faculty and students of the University of Georgia, including Douglas Kleiber and Nuria Jaumot-Pascual, on research related to patterns of activity engagement in later life with particular attention to differences related to gender and cultural context.

The conversation took place from 1:15 – 2:45 at the Institute of Gerontology: Hudson Hall,102 Spear Road, Athens.
