CPH In the Media: November 2021 Roundup

UGA College of Public Health news and media mentions for the month of November 2021:

Adam Chen, associate professor of health policy & management, provided commentary for the Chinese American leadership organization Committee of 100 on research looking at the impact of discrimination among Chinese scientists in the U.S.

Justin Bahl, associate professor of epidemiology & biostatistics, was featured in a story by UGA Research about UGA researchers working to understand the dynamics of zoonotic spillover, including the origins of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

The Athens Wellbeing Project’s latest data collection phase was covered by WUGA’s Athens News Matters. The project is led by Grace Bagwell Adams, CPH’s Assistant Dean for Outreach, Engagement & Equity and an associate professor of health policy & management.

CPH alum Tom Richey and Institute for Disaster Management director Curt Harris published findings that suggest EMS workers may be vulnerable to disease outbreaks. The research was covered by UGA Today.
