Dr. Matthew Lee Smith to be recognized as “Centenarian before Age Thirty-Five”

Dr. Matthew Lee Smith, assistant professor in the College’s Department of Health Promotion and Behavior, will be named “Centenarian before Age Thirty-Five” at the 2013 American Public Health Association Annual Meeting in Boston, MA this November 2-4.

Dr. Smith has had over 100 peer-reviewed articles accepted for publication in scholarly journals within five years of receiving his Ph.D. He will be recognized for his achievements during the Aging and Public Health section of the APHA meeting on Nov. 4.
