5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Online

Join us Tuesday, May 31  at 5:00 p.m. on Zoom for our next monthly CPH Black Alumni Connection conversation, part of a series commemorating the 60th anniversary of desegregation at UGA and honoring CPH changemakers of color.

Our guest alumni will be sports medicine fellow Amber Berry, MD, MS (BSHP ’12) and psychiatry resident Ebony Caldwell, MD, MPH (BSHP/MPH ’13). Drs. Berry and Caldwell will share their career experiences and, in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month and National Physical Fitness and Sports Month, discuss the intersection between exercise and mental health.

Dr. Amber Berry is currently completing her fellowship training in Sports Medicine with Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA and will join the group this fall as a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician. Dr. Ebony Caldwell is currently completing her psychiatry residency training at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC, where she serves as Chief Resident and is active in research, education, and recruitment endeavors. She will be beginning an Addiction Psychiatry fellowship at Yale School of Medicine this upcoming summer.

This event is hosted by the CPH Alumni Board and will be moderated by Samrina Jamal (BS’17, MPH’18), CPH Alumni Board Member and Public Health Advisor at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Join us on Zoom.
