Structural Variations of the 3D Genomic Architecture in Cervical Cancer Development

Dr. Adeel is a young researcher in the field of 3D-Genomics and Bioinformatics. He received his PhD (Bioinformatics) from Huazhong Agricultural University, (HZAU) Wuhan, China working with 3D-Genomics Group of Dr. Guoliang Li from 2017-2021. In his PhD work, he studied the “Higher order chromosomal re-arrangements (translocations) in cancer genomes using higher-order chromosomal conformation capture (Hi-C) data”. He has published several first-author and co-author papers in highly regarded, peer-reviewed journals. He has recently joined Dr. Wentao Li’s DNA-Damage repair lab at the University of Georgia as a postdoctoral associate.
