Baojin Ding received his Bachelor’s in Medicine from the Medical College of Qingdao University in China, and received a Master’s of Science at Wenzhou Medical University in Wenzhou, China. He went on to receive his Ph.D in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Louisiana State University. He then completed postdoctoral work at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. He will be presenting on Nucleocytoplasmic Transport, the regulatory mechanisms involved, and the linkage to various human diseases.
