Speaker Bio: Waseela Ashraf earned her B.S. from Dow University of Health Sciences, Pakistan. She is enrolled as a Ph.D. student in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pakistan. She was selected and financially supported by the Pakistan High Education Council to visit the University of Georgia and currently work in Dr. J.S. Wang’s Lab in the College of Public Health’s Environmental Health Science Department for completion of her doctoral dissertation. Her doctoral research work is focused on the human prevalence of aflatoxin and its effect on health.
