Innovation Gateway: Expanding the impact of your discoveries

Interested in expanding the impact of your research? Innovation Gateway is the university’s intellectual property licensing and startup support arm. With over 1000 new products and over 200 companies created, Innovation Gateway can help take your technology from the lab to society. In addition to IP protection and licensing, plus support for UGA-affiliated startup companies, Innovation Gateway also manages several programs for the university’s Innovation District, including the NSF I-Corps program, Faculty Innovation Fellows, Innovation Bootcamp and more. Innovation Gateway offers graduate student internships and a postdoctoral program for those interested in learning more about intellectual property, technology transfer as well as hands-on experience with startups.
