Gizem is a PhD Candidate in Environmental Health Science with a research focus on metabolomics. She graduated from Inonu University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Biology. She then completed her Master’s in Pharmaceutical Botany in 2017. Throughout her master’s degree, she actively conducted clinical studies on phase 4 cancer patients at IQVIA and Roche companies. Her doctoral research focuses on identification of specific circulating metabolites and characterization of their signature metabolomic profiling associated with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
