Speaker Bio: Ian grew up in Monroe, Michigan, and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Toledo. During his undergraduate career, he worked under Dr. Avidor-Reiss, studying centriolar proteins and their role in sperm. Since then, Ian worked with Dr. Easley on a project, Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances impact human spermatogenesis in a stem-cell-derived model, during his internship before being accepted into the Environmental Health Science Ph.D. program and joining the Easley laboratory. His talk will be focused on his latest research.
