Monitoring influenza vaccination coverage in the United States
This week’s guest speaker is: Carla Black, Ph.D., Immunization Services Division, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
Speaker Biography: Carla Black, PhD, is an epidemiologist in the Immunization Services Division of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases at the CDC. At CDC she has worked on assessing vaccination coverage among children and adults in the U.S. Prior to joining CDC she was a postdoctoral fellow in the Center for Tropical and Emerging Global Diseases at UGA. She obtained her PhD in epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
