Speaker Bio: Dr. Matthew Magee is an Associate Professor in the Hubert Department of Global Health at Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University. He is also jointly appointed in the Department of Epidemiology and the Division of Infectious Diseases, Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Magee’s work assesses the impact of tuberculosis infection and disease on metabolic disease risk. In addition, his studies explore the impact of hyperglycemia on clinical infectious disease pathogenesis.
