Dr. Tamora Callands, Department of Health Promotion and Behavior, UGA College of Public Health
Speaker Biography: Dr. Tamora Callands is an assistant professor in health promotion and behavior at the UGA College of Public Health. She conducts research in the area of global health with a specific focus on mental health, sexual and reproductive health and HIV prevention in post-conflict and/or low-resource settings. Her current work in Liberia and Sierra Leone has given her a unique opportunity to do research while and interfacing with grassroots organizations and individuals on the ground to impact health outcomes.
