Join the Global Health Institute on February 27 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. for our Global Health Seminar Spring Series: Feasibility, Acceptability and Ethical Issues in Using Wearable Digital Technologies in Community Health Research in Urban Uganda.

Our speaker, Dr. Sarah Zalwango, is a leader in public health and a TB/HIV researcher. Dr. Zalwango serves as the Director of Public Health and Environment at Kampala Capital City Authority in Uganda and is a Senior Research Scientist at Makerere University and the Uganda Society for Health Scientists. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Zalwango’s research focuses on tuberculosis, including household transmission, active case finding, and TB/HIV co-infection. Recently, she has expanded her work to include digital technologies and wearable devices for TB research.
