This week’s guest speaker: Dr. Yuxian Du, Ph. D., Manager of Research Strategy at the Department of Data Generation and Observational Studies, Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals U.S., Whippany, NJ

Speaker Bio: Yuxian Du, Ph. D., is a Manager of Research Strategy at the Department of Data Generation and Observational Studies in Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals U.S., Whippany, NJ. His research revolves around the patient journey, economic outcomes, and treatment gaps in therapeutic areas including chronic kidney disease, prostate cancer, and heart failure. He was a Bayer Postdoc Fellow with Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (2018-2020), focusing on patient-reported outcomes and financial hardship of cancer patients. He has co-authored over 30 publications as journal articles, book chapters, federal and state reports, or conference proceedings. Yuxian received his Ph.D. in Health Services Research from Texas A&M University in 2018 and B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from Tsinghua University in 2013.
