    Dr. Li teaches two graduate level classes. He tries to make my lectures clear and easy to follow. He emphasizes on the understanding of epidemiology concepts and methods and the application of the methods to real practice.

  • Research Interests

    Dr. Li’s research focuses on delineating novel pathophysiological pathways underlying cardiovascular disease through multi-omic studies. He has done extensive gene-environmental interaction research in hypertension, stroke, and diabetes by integrating data on GWAS, next generation sequencing, microbiome, and metabolomics.

    His specific interests include gene environment interactions, GWAS, sequencing, metabolomics, microbiome, gene expression, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and stroke.
