Health Policy & Management

As MPH Advisor in the Department of Health Policy and Management, Dr. Bignell assists students in developing a program of study to meet the requirements of the MPH degree and any additional certificate or dual-degree programs. She facilitates selection of a faculty mentor for second-year coursework and the Capstone project. In addition, she coordinates outreach efforts to other schools at the University of Georgia, as well as universities in our region, to recruit applicants who may not have considered a career in health policy or management. Finally, Dr. Bignell is always more than happy to talk with students about planning for graduate school, successfully navigating the graduate program, and preparing for a dream career that is in service to others.
