Mark is a research project coordinator in the Department of Health Promotion & Behavior for Dr. Timothy Heckman, Associate Dean of Research for the College of Public Health. He is a Licensed Social Worker in Ohio, a certified Crisis Worker through the American Association of Suicidology and a Certified Information & Referral Specialist. He has extensive experience in the areas of crisis intervention, mental health, aging and working with people living with HIV. He is involved with managing telemedicine research grants investigating various telephone delivered behavioral health interventions designed to improve the quality of life in various target populations. His responsibilities include participant recruitment and retention, intervention coordination, and data collection.
