Alex Strickland

Undergraduate Ambassador, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health (BSEH)

Hey, my name is Alex and I am a third-year Environmental Health major with the intent of going to medical school and then work abroad specifically regarding pediatrics. I switched into The College of Public Health later on into my college career and it is by far the best decision I have made so far. The students and faculty are some of the most driven and supportive I have ever seen. With it being one of the smaller majors it becomes almost its own community helping make such a big university smaller. I can often be found finding new places to hike and explore the woods, lakes, and rivers around Athens or participating in different activities with the campus ministry Cru.  Let me know if there is anything about EHS or the College of Public Health in general that I can help explain.

    • Refine presentation skills

    • Work with other ambassadors on a specific project to benefit the College of Public Health
