Alexandra Kolesar

Undergraduate Ambassador

Undergraduate Ambassador, Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion (BSHP)

My name is Alexandra and I am a third year Health Promotion major and Nutritional Sciences minor. From an early age, I knew I wanted to go into the medical field and pursue a career as a Physician’s Assistant. To further immerse myself in the healthcare profession, I volunteer my time at St. Mary’s hospital and hospice house and work part-time as a Medical Assistant. I came into UGA as a biology major and stumbled upon the College of Public Health fall semester of freshman year, and I am so glad I did.

From coursework and community service done through the college, I have developed a strong appreciation and advocacy for public health and health equality. The College of Public Health has provided me with a foundation on the complexity and importance of health I hope to take with me in my future career. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns!
