Allison Ayers

Undergraduate Ambassador, Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion (BSHP)

Hi, my name is Allison Ayers, and I am a fourth-year Health Promotion major from Sugar Hill, Georgia. Coming into the University of Georgia, I did not know what I wanted to do as a future career which made choosing a major very difficult. As soon as one of my friends told me about the College of Public Health’s Health Promotion major, I knew it was a perfect fit for me. Health Promotion is extremely versatile and keeps many doors open in the future. This was one of the main things that drew me to this major. I have finally decided to get my doctoral degree in occupational therapy.

All the students and teachers in the College of Public Health are amazing, and I am very humbled to be able to be a part of this major. The College of Public Health has given me so many different opportunities that I would love to talk about. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you ever have any questions.
