Amber Bullard

Undergraduate Ambassador, Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion (BSHP)

My name is Amber Bullard and I am a fourth year Health Promotion major from Monticello, GA. I have always had a passion for teaching and health; however, I struggled to find a career path that combined both of my passions. After changing my major several times, I found that Health Promotion was the perfect fit. It provides adequate education on medical, biological, and social sciences that affects public health. I plan to become a Health Educator and work in a public health department. I want to educate the community about the importance of healthy behaviors, so less people will be harmed by chronic conditions. It is important that I continue to expand my knowledge, so I will pursue a Master of Public Health. My ultimate career goal is to become a professor. My Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion is the first step to starting a long, successful career in public health.
