Ann Madeleine Wilson

Undergraduate Ambassador, Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion (BSHP)

My name is Ann Madeleine Wilson and I am third year from Acworth, Georgia, majoring in Health Promotion with a minor in Spanish. I plan to go to nursing school after I graduate to become a Registered Pediatric Nurse. When I came in as a freshman, I was your typical bio- pre med major, but after meeting nursing representatives from certain school at many of the fairs held at UGA, I fell in love with nursing and realized that Health Promotion was the best and most efficient way to pursue that career.

The College of Public Health has done so many wonderful things to improve my education and prepare me for my future, providing me with unique opportunities to grow as a student and as a person. Public health has exposed me to another side of healthcare I didn’t realize existed, and am so happy to be continuing to learn about the different angles of our country’s wellbeing.  Let me know how I can help you find your fit. Welcome to UGA!
