Ashley Renee Hammond
Master of Health Administration (MHA)
Ashley Hammond is a second-year Master of Health Administration student at the University of Georgia, where she maintains a 4.00 GPA. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Behavior from the University of Florida, graduating cum laude, and holds the Certified Associate in Project Management credential.
Ashley has built hands-on experience across health systems, consulting, and healthcare technology. Most recently, she interned with Ascension’s Strategic Integration team in St. Louis, supporting project management for one of the industry’s largest Oracle Cloud ERP implementations. She also worked with Scale Street, a healthcare AI strategy firm, where she partnered with Microsoft to develop a training program now reaching more than 780 rural and community health organizations. Her earlier internships include UF Health and Wellstar Health System.
At UGA, Ashley serves as Outreach and Recruitment Chair on the MHA Executive Board and as Vice President of the UGA ACHE Student Chapter, where she helped establish local programming to expand student access to statewide professional development. Her professional interests include hospital operations, strategy, quality improvement, and healthcare consulting.
