Caitlin Francis Kimpe
Master of Health Administration (MHA)
Caitlin Kimpe is a first-year Master of Health Administration student at the University of Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Georgia College & State University, where she developed a strong interest in making communities happier and healthier. Her background in public health showed her the impact that strong leadership and healthcare organizations can have on the communities they serve.
Caitlin’s experiences have allowed her to grow in leadership, healthcare, and community outreach. She began her career at the Cherokee County Aquatic Center, where she worked her way up to a management position and gained experience in daily operations, staff supervision, and creating a positive experience for the community. She later served as a Community Outreach Intern with Mini City Atlanta through the Partnership for Inclusive Innovation. In this role, she helped connect individuals experiencing homelessness with identification documents, public benefits, and other community resources.
Most recently, Caitlin worked as a Front Office Specialist at Barbour Orthopaedics & Spine. Working directly with patients showed her how important the patient experience is from the moment someone walks through the door. This experience strengthened her interest in how healthcare operations and leadership can shape the overall quality of care and patient experience.
Through the UGA MHA program, Caitlin is excited to build on these experiences and continue exploring her interests in healthcare operations, leadership, quality, and patient experience. She hopes to pursue a career in healthcare leadership where she can improve the patient experience, support healthcare teams, and make a positive impact on the communities she serves.
