Master of Public Health (MPH)

Destany is a second-year Master in Public Health student concentrating in Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases. She is originally from Stockbridge, GA but attended Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, GA for her undergraduate degree in sociology with a minor in chemistry. She plans to use her MPH degree to further her research within public health and clinical settings. She aspires to attend medical school in hopes of becoming a general practitioner who specializes in low socio-economic areas as well as third-world areas. Her ultimate dream would be to open a non-profit healthcare clinic in the third-world country of Honduras- to provide healthcare access and treatment to those who do not already have it.
