Master of Public Health (MPH)

Destany Ware is a graduate student in the Master of Public Health- Epidemiology Program (MPH). She completed her bachelor’s degree at Georgia Southwestern State University in sociology with a minor in chemistry. At the University of Georgia, Destany serves as the ASPPH TIPH student ambassador. Destany has also served as the graduate assistant in the Chemistry department during the 2021 year and now serves as the graduate assistant at the UGA Institute of Human Development and Disabilities. Off-campus, Destany works for the GA Department of Public Health as a COVID-19 case-investigator for the district 10 epidemiology unit. Destany aspires to work in clinical research setting that allows her to work towards providing data analysis that galvanizes change towards a better healthcare system for our communities.
