Elizabeth Grace Threadgill

Master of Public Health (MPH)

Hi there! I’m Grace Threadgill, and I am pursuing an MPH in Epidemiology with the UGA College of Public Health. I earned a B.S.Ed in Exercise and Sport Science in Spring 2024 with a minor in Personal Health and Well Being as well as a certificate in Public Health Data Fluency. I am currently working with the COPH Health Promotion and Behavior Department as a Graduate Research Assistant and with the Recreational Sports Department as a Satellite Facilities Manager.

I have really, really enjoyed my time at UGA so far. Coming in as a transfer student during undergrad was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I discovered my passion for physical activity, chronic disease, and health disparity research with the Kinesiology Department, and I built the first foundations for a career in epidemiology with data fluency and professional research and communication skills in the COPH Data Fluency Certificate program.

Frankly, coming back to UGA for graduate school was an easy choice. I know I am in the right place to continue building my skillset and understanding of public health epidemiology, and I can’t wait to see where my MPH takes me.
