Undergraduate Ambassador, Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion (BSHP)

Hello everyone! My name is Esther Oppong and I am a Fourth Year Health Promotion-Health services emphasis and a Global Health minor from Winder, GA. During freshmen year orientation, I met a College of Public Health ambassador, where she gave me insight into the major and the limitless opportunities. As a daughter of a Ghanaian Physician, I have always been motivated to work in healthcare and serve my home country. The major bridges these two together! It covers an array of healthcare fields that aims to cover preventative care, community health, and service! I chose to add the emphasis in Health Services because I aspire to become a PA that specializes in Maternal and Child Health. One day I hope to start my own Non-Profit organization that provides education and services to young girls impacted by injustice in their community. Go Dawgs!
