Curriculum Vitae

DVM / MPH Dual Degree

I am a fourth-year veterinary student currently completing her Master of Public Health in UGA’s dual DVM-MPH program. I am very interested in infectious diseases and have a passion for zoonotic diseases and transboundary diseases. Throughout my education I have held multiple leadership positions that have improved my interpersonal skills as well as allowed me to get more involved in subjects that interest me. I have participated in various research projects pertaining to marine science, wildlife infectious diseases and public health. I am a lifelong learner and dedicate myself fully to pursuing learning opportunities that will guide me in fulfilling my passion of working in veterinary public health. I hope to work at an organization like the CDC, OIE or FAO and participate in the Epidemiologic Intelligence Service (EIS) program immediately following graduation. Later in my career, I would like to become board certified through the American College of Veterinary Preventative Medicine and serve as a state public health veterinarian.
