Harris Jamal

Undergraduate Ambassador

Undergraduate Ambassador, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health (BSEH)

My name is Harris Jamal and I am a sophomore pursuing a dual degree with a bachelor in Environmental Health Science and a Master’s in Public Health. I am also studying on the pre-med track and hope to attend medical school.

My goal is to combine healthcare and sustainability to create an effective method to not only help those in need but also our planet. I hope to promote this notion of sustainable healthcare locally and abroad by working with organizations like Health Care Without Harm and Practice Green Health in the future. I am very interested in studying the intersection between environmental problems and human health and the College of Public Health has allowed me to do just that. From research opportunities to information sessions, the College of Public health has truly helped me in finding my place here at UGA.

With that being said, I look forward to being an Ambassador for the College of Public Health and share my love and passion for this field with other students. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions for any questions or information!
