Ishaan Dave

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Epidemiology & Biostatistics

Ishaan is a 5th year Ph.D. student studying Biostatistics at the University of Georgia. With a research interest in modeling physiological systems, he hopes to accurately identify sources of variability in these systems and understand mechanics underlying kidney and heart functioning. His prior education was completed at Emory University, completing a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and a MSPH in Biostatistics from Rollins School of Public Health.

When he’s not working or studying, Ishaan enjoys traveling, trying new food options and playing Ultimate Frisbee, table tennis, and card games. Courtesy of an Atlanta upbringing, all of the above has been accompanied by a steadfast loyalty – and unfortunately much disappointment – in Atlanta’s local sports teams.
