Kalani Franklin

Master of Health Administration (MHA)

Kalani Franklin is a second-year graduate student pursuing a Master’s in Health Administration at the University of Georgia. She is interested in transforming healthcare by increasing health organizations’ diversity, equity, and inclusion. Kalani holds the position of Community Service Chair for the MHA Executive Board and is also a Student Ambassador for the UGA University Mentor Program.

Kalani is currently involved in her community through the Public Health Student Association, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, and Phi Sigma Pi Honors Fraternity.

In addition to pursuing her career ambitions and giving back to the community, Kalani works as a content developer. She is a co-founder of Cocoa Diaries, a website that aids Black women who want to go to college. Together with the other four founders, Kalani has created a community and a safe environment that currently numbers over 8,000 people.
