Kalani Franklin

Master of Health Administration (MHA)

Kalani Franklin is a Georgia Southern University graduate currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Health Administration at the University of Georgia. She is passionate about transforming healthcare by focusing on increasing the overall diversity, equity, and inclusion of health organizations. Kalani wants to learn how to improve the quality of health care, how to reduce health disparities in her community, and how to implement diversity-focused programs, services, and initiatives.

Kalani is currently involved in her community through the Public Health Student Association, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, and Phi Sigma Pi Honors Fraternity.

In addition to pursuing her career ambitions and giving back to the community, Kalani works as a content developer. She is a co-founder of Cocoa Diaries, a website that aids Black women who want to go to college. Together with the other four founders, Kalani has created a community and a safe environment that currently numbers over 8,000 people.
