Kiran Farooq

Undergraduate Ambassador, Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion (BSHP)

Hello! My name is Kiran Farooq and I am a third year Health Promotion major with a Health Services Emphasis. I am from the city of Marietta, Georgia, where I discovered my passion for the healthcare field. When I began my first year at the University of Georgia, I was positive about the career I wanted to pursue in medicine but I was in search for a major that encompassed my interests in the various aspects of the medical field besides the obvious patient care.

When I learned more about the College of Public Health, I quickly realized it was a good fit for me and what I wanted to gain out of my education. Not only do the classes for Health Promotion suit my needs for Physician Assistant school, but I am also provided with many opportunities through the college that will help me take my career to the next level of helping others. If you ever find that you have questions about my major, the pre-PA track, or this college, feel free to contact me.
