Maddox Shane Shook

Curriculum Vitae

Master of Health Administration (MHA)

My name is Maddox Shook, and I am originally from Douglas, Georgia. I am a second-year Master of Health Administration student at the University of Georgia. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Consumer Economics with a minor in Health Policy and Management from UGA. Before beginning the MHA program, I gained experience in hospital administration through the Patient Experience department. Most recently, I completed a summer internship at Coffee Regional Medical Center, where I worked on projects in physician referral analysis, medical staff development, finance, and quality improvement. These experiences strengthened my commitment to ensuring patients are treated with respect and dignity while preparing me to lead in hospital operations. My career goal is to serve in hospital leadership within rural, nonprofit hospitals in South Georgia.
