Madeleine Spitzler

Undergraduate Ambassador

Undergraduate Ambassador, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health (BSEH)

My name is Madeleine Spitzler, and I am a fourth year Environmental Health Science major with a Spanish minor.  Since high school, I knew I took interest within the science and medical fields, but never knew specifically what subject matter most intrigued me.  After taking a freshman year seminar within the Environmental Health department here at UGA, I gained insight into a major that would combine my passion for the environmental sciences with my desire to help people in the medical field.

Now, I am on the path to medical school, while also having participated in various Environmental Health Science activities like a study abroad in Costa Rica and serving as the secretary of the EHS club.  The EHS department has really allowed me to find my niche on campus, and I know will continue to prepare me for a future career in the health science field.
