Mandia Roberts is a second-year graduate student and teaching assistant in the College of Public Health, pursuing a Master of Health Administration at the University of Georgia. Originally from Nassau, The Bahamas, she earned her B.A. in Global Health Studies and Spanish from Mercer University, where her interest in equitable access to care first took shape. Mandia is passionate about enhancing patient experiences, driving process improvement, and developing the healthcare workforce. As an aspiring healthcare leader, she plans to build a career in healthcare administration, with a focus on access and equity across the systems she serves. She recently completed an administrative internship with the Quality and Outcomes Management department at Shepherd Center, a rehabilitation hospital in Atlanta, where she contributed to process improvement and interdepartmental projects with Human Resources and Patient Experience that supported the center’s quality and operational goals.
