Marshae Nickelberry

Undergraduate Ambassador, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health (BSEH)

My name is Marshae Nickelberry. I am from Newnan, Georgia, but originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and I am a third year Environmental Health major with a pre-med intent. I chose EHS after looking for a unique and unconventional way of fulfilling my pre-medical requirements as an undergraduate before going to medical school. I have always had an interesting love and passion for the environment, human health, sustainability and public policy and stumbled across the EHS program at UGA my senior year. I knew for sure it was the one for me after discovering that it was the only program of its kind in the state and the only school out of my other options that offered the degree. I plan on pursuing a Doctorate of Osteopathy as well as Master’s of Public Health in Environmental Health Science.
