Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Epidemiology & Biostatistics
Ruiyuan is a PhD student at the University of Georgia with an emphasis on biostatistics. Previously, he received his medical doctor degree with a focus in clinical medicine from Wuhan University and his masters of science focusing on biostatistics from Tulane University. His research interests lie in genetic epidemiology, specifically focusing on investigating gene-gene and gene-environment interaction effects on cardiovascular diseases and cognitive disorders through multi-omic studies. He also performs studies on genomic and transcriptomic data.
