Hey everyone! I am Safiyah Otiti and I am a 4th year undergraduate student from Snellville, Georgia. My major is Health Promotion with an emphasis in Behavioral Medicine and I am also pursuing a certificate in African Studies. I will be using my degree to pursue my endeavors of promoting health orally as a Dentist. My degree in Health Promotion from the University of Georgia has provided me with a broader perspective on healthcare which will enable me to be effective in promoting and ensuring the oral health of communities around me. The health promotion program at UGA cultivates public health professionals who will be ready to make an impact on the health of individuals in all types of communities. Whether you are interested in medicine, teeth, law, or policy; the program will equip you with the necessary knowledge to make sure you can make meaningful impacts to a community through joint collaboration.
