Sarah Ghosh

Sarah Ghosh is a Master of Health Administration (MHA) candidate at the University of Georgia, where she is actively engaged in outreach and recruitment efforts as a committee member. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Kennesaw State University, where she also gained valuable research experience in hydration studies through her work with the College of Health and Human Services.
Sarah brings extensive clinical and laboratory experience from her role as a Lab Assistant II at Kaiser Permanente. In this position, she performed high-volume phlebotomy and specimen processing, collaborated on union-led projects to improve workflow efficiency, and developed physician education materials to enhance patient communication and reduce testing errors.
Her academic journey has also included international study at Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea, where she completed courses in Korean language and traditional dance while participating in immersive cultural activities. She has further demonstrated her commitment to patient safety and healthcare excellence through her volunteer work as a Safety Partner at Northside Hospital.
Sarah holds multiple professional certifications, including Certified Phlebotomy Technician, Biomedical Research with Human Subjects, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens, and Basic Life Support (BLS). Fluent in Spanish and English, with intermediate proficiency in Korean, she brings strong cross-cultural communication skills to her work.
With her combined background in clinical practice, research, and healthcare administration, Sarah is dedicated to advancing safe, efficient, and patient-centered care within complex healthcare systems.
