Simone Anderson

Curriculum Vitae

Undergraduate Ambassador, Master of Public Health (MPH), Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion (BSHP)

My name is Simone Anderson and I am a third year Double Dawgs student from Augusta, GA. This means that I am pursuing both my B.S. Health Promotion as well as my Master of Public Health in a consolidated amount of time. In high school, I knew I wanted to do something hands-on in the healthcare field. I originally came to college as an Exercise and Sports Science major with pre-med intent. It wasn’t until I took a Global Citizen FYOS with Dr. Marsha Black that I realized I had a real interest in the promotion and management of health around the world. My first semester, I switched to the College of Public Health and was immediately welcomed by wonderful faculty, advisors, and students. This college successfully prepares its students for a bright future by providing the unique tools and skills necessary to be a great health professional and improve global health. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. Go Dawgs!
