Skarlet Velasquez

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Epidemiology & Biostatistics

Skarlet Velasquez graduated with a double BBA in Economics and Management and Master’s in Public Health in Health Policy and Management from the University of Georgia. Her research interests are maternal and child health, with an emphasis on reproductive disorders, environmental exposures and their effect on maternal and infant outcomes, as well as translational epidemiology. She is a Gates Millenium Scholar, a mentor in the PRIME group, and currently serving as GSEB President.
