With opportunities for future researchers and working professionals, the College of Public Heath’s master’s and doctoral level degree programs prepare students for careers in public health scholarship, academic teaching, and high-level public health positions.

Graduate programs include the two-year Master of Public Health (MPH) degree, considered the heart and soul of any school of public health, and the Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degree, for public health professionals seeking to expand their expertise in leadership and management.  Master of Science (MS) and Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) programs allow students to pursue their research interests in topics that range from environmental health and food safety to infectious disease surveillance and public health program evaluation. Certificate programs are available for students interested in specialized expertise in gerontology, global health and disaster management.
