Andrea Coté is a veterinary epidemiologist with the United States Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (USDA‑FSIS). Prior to joining USDA, she served as an Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) Officer at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where she led epidemiologic investigations to halt outbreaks and reduce morbidity and mortality. She holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Tennessee.
