The College of Public faculty offer a range of services to support and promote public health programs.

Below is a list of services we offer to communities, academic collaborators, and our partners in state and local government agencies, healthcare organizations, and non-profit organizations.

Types of Service

Community Needs Assessment –

UGA CPH has a strong history of supporting Georgia communities and healthcare systems with comprehensive community needs assessments.

Economic & Program Evaluation –

UGA CPH faculty have expertise in economic & program evaluation that assess the reach, effectiveness, adoption, implementation, and maintenance of different evidence-informed and evidence-based programs for people of all ages. The following groups specialize by topic and/or population –

Emergency Preparedness Training –

The Institute for Disaster Management at UGA CPH offers a variety of emergency preparedness training for long-term care facilities, state healthcare coalitions, emergency responders, and others.

Statistical Consulting & Data Analysis –

UGA CPH’s Biostatistics Collaborative Unit faculty are trained in experimental and survey sampling design, and a variety of methods of biostatistical analyses including linear, generalized linear (e.g., logistic regression) and nonlinear models, hierarchical modeling, categorical data analysis, and survival analysis. They offer consulting, no-cost and billable services, and fees for service work on grants.
