Please join the Environmental Health Science Department and the Institute of Gerontology for Lecturer candidate Morgane Golan’s teaching seminar, “The Exposome and Neurotoxicity: How Environmental Exposures Influence Brain Health,” on Wednesday, February 18, from 2:00 PM – 2:55 PM at Rhodes Hall, Room 031 on the Health Sciences Campus.

Morgane Golan’s Bio:
Morgane Golan is a Ph.D. candidate in Regenerative Bioscience at the University of Georgia, where her research focuses on developing regenerative therapies for aging-related neurological conditions, including stroke and dementias. Her work investigates approaches to repair neural injury and promote resilience in the aging brain. Morgane is an award-winning educator with experience teaching large undergraduate courses and designing active-learning curricula that integrate systems biology and translational science with student engagement. Her teaching and mentoring approach empowers students to connect biological mechanisms to broader health outcomes across the lifespan, supporting their preparedness for careers in science and health.
