We are pleased to welcome Jack Harth, Assistant Research Scientist in the Institute of Gerontology in UGA’s College of Public Health, for a seminar on Wednesday, November 19th!

Jack Harth is an Assistant Research Scientist in the Institute of Gerontology in the College of Public Health. With formal training in neuroscience, he has expertise in psychophysics and functional vision, particularly motion perception and seeing in outdoor environments. Dr. Harth measures visual functions and biomarkers of eye and brain health, and he investigates how lifestyle factors, such as diet, can influence vision. His work promotes the preservation of healthy vision throughout the lifespan. Dr. Harth’s work also contributes to the optimization of sensory functions in special populations such as athletes.
