Kelli McCarthy is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia’s Institute for Disaster Management (IDM). She teaches graduate-level courses in disaster management and serves on the Executive Team of the Southern Regional Disaster Response System (Region 4 RDHRS Site). A Certified Emergency Manager and FEMA Master Exercise Practitioner, Kelli specializes in incident command, exercise design, and large-scale crisis simulations that strengthen preparedness across healthcare and public health systems.
