Hi! My name is Riley Hughes, and I am from Acworth, GA. I am a 4th-year Health Promotion major with minors in Health Policy and Management, Gerontology, and Global Health. The College of Public Health has enabled me to explore various fields in the healthcare world, while equipping me with the skills and knowledge to make a meaningful difference in the world. Coming from a small high school, I have thrived in the small class sizes that allowed me to get to know my professors and classmates. Outside of my classes and being a CPH ambassador, I work as a Student Assistant at the Registrar’s Office and volunteer with ESP in Athens. After graduation, I plan to either enter the field of healthcare management or pursue my master’s in nursing. Feel free to reach out with any questions about the College of Public Health or UGA.
