Master of Public Health (MPH)

Stella is an MPH Student with a Concentration in Epidemiology and a Certificate course in Global Health. My Research Interest focuses on Infectious diseases and Rare pediatric diseases. The use of mobile technology to bridge healthcare delivery gaps, especially in developing countries, while understanding Treatment Adherence levels among patients who are co-infected with TB/HIV and studying the prevalence of Adeno associated virus(AAV) among Patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy in preparation for Gene Therapy. Stella enjoys cooking (trying out new dishes), dancing, and spending time with her family.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant at the College of Public Health, my responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating course work, grading assignments, and exams for epidemiology students, and providing timely and relevant feedback to support their learning;
  • Teaching epidemiology students during Lab sessions;
  • Providing weekly mentoring and tutoring office hour sessions to students.
